How We Use Information:Prop Cop only uses your personal information for specific purposes.The personal information you provide to us when using our Web Site, such as your name, postal or e-mail address or telephone number will be kept confidential and used to support your customer relationship with Prop Cop. When an individual or law enforcement obtains a match on your stolen property they will be instructed to call Prop Cop. Information will be gathered by Prop Cop about the item(s) that have been recovered and the information on the law enforcement agency and that information will be forwarded to the insurance company or corporation with the loss. The law enforcement agency will be given the name and case number for the originating law enforcement agency who took the theft report. No information on the insurance company / corporation is ever disclosed. If the original owner of the property listed their insurance carrier, that may be on the original police report. Our Commitment to Data SecurityTo prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
